dignitas are the first WESG EU & CIS finalists after defeating Kinguin 2-1 (Cobblestone 17-19, Mirage 16-10, Overpass 16-13). In the first semi-final of WESG Europe & CIS Finals, Kinguin decided to pick Cobblestone into Dignitas. The Poles began with a quick 5-0 lead as Terrorists after convincing rounds, before the Danish side evened it out on the back of a few great rounds by Emil "Magisk" Reif. The remainder of the half went back and forth, though Dignitas went over with a comfortable seven rounds thanks to a few 1v2 clutches from Philip "aizy" Aistrup. Michał "MICHU" Müller and Mikołaj "mouz" Karolewski gave Kinguin the second pistol, but the Danes replied back right in the following forcebuy and took it to 10-10. Each side then got a few gunrounds to their name and Kinguin got to 15-13, but Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke's triple in a shoddy forcebuy saved his team and took it to overtime. The Poles managed to secure map one after all, as after losing the initial two rounds they grabbed four in a row for 19-17.
Mirage followed and it was Kinguin to grab the first pistol as CT, barely surviving a 1v3 attempt from k0nfig. Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen's side then got six rounds in a row after several won afterplants, but the Polish number two still switched to Terrorists with eight rounds to their name. As CT, Dignitas were in control for the most part, only letting go of two gunrounds while breezing through the rest, taking the series to the decider, Overpass, at 16-10. At the beginning of map three, Kinguin took a 5-1 lead as Terrorists on the back of a won pistol round and great showings from MICHU, who had been a force throughout the entire tournament. Magisk's fantastic triple kill with a CZ-75 then allowed Dignitas to take over the remainder of the first half, winning eight out of nine rounds for 9-6. Aside from several clutches going Kinguin's way, most of the second half was controlled by Dignitas, who quickly got to 15-8. The Poles attempted to come back and take the third map to overtime with a few more clutch round wins, but they fell short in the end at 16-13.
